November is upon us and this time of year has us thinking about gratitude. In this turbulent society, it is important to remember who and what we are thankful for. We are grateful for our lovely staff and customers. Although they are not listed below, we would like to recognize the long-term staff members who have simply moved on with their life cycles. Harmony Day Spa would not be a success without your smiling faces, kind attitudes, and desire to live a healthy, balanced life.

To kick off this season of gratitude, we thought it would be fun for you to learn a bit more about the ladies of Harmony Day Spa.

Kelly joined the Harmony Day Spa team over four months ago as a part-time esthetician. She enjoys working with amazing women and treating our wonderful clients. Prior to working at Harmony Day Spa, Kelly held a college internship at Disney. No matter where her career leads (and we hope it is many years with us!) we truly believe in the power of hospitality training that Disney teaches. It trickles down into everything Kelly does and we are so happy she has joined our team.

In Kelly’s time off she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her one-year-old, Dylan. Her top beauty tip for this fall is to moisturize daily and get a facial to bring back your natural glow! Kelly believes that the technological advances of LED treatments have transformed the beauty industry and it is one of her favorite trends. She’d like to visit Disney World and Italy soon!

Brittney has been greeting our lovely guests at Harmony Day Spa for nine months as our part-time receptionist. She enjoys working with a great group of women in a welcoming atmosphere. In her spare time, Brittney is preparing to apply to grad school. She is very passionate about Occupational Therapy. We are thrilled that she has joined our team as she is such a great fit for Harmony Day Spa!

Brittney recommends that you give your skin the spa touch with the right hydration this fall! In her time off, she enjoys doing yoga, meditating, and spending time with her family. Her favorite beauty trends are balayage hair, a groomed eyebrow, and no-heat hairstyles. Brittney would love to go to the Maldives!

Keshia is an amazing part time massage therapist with Harmony Day Spa since early 2015 and we have written about her in our last email so we will touch on the finer points!  Keshia is a full time educational professional with several master degrees and is preparing to go for a third! She is devoted to her family and many charitable causes such as the very recent Avon Walk in NYC.  We couldn’t be any prouder, but we really don’t know how she has the energy!
