Your Experience, Step by Step
If you’ve experienced our Sculptural Face Lifting & Contouring Facial with Kelly, you already know this is unlike a traditional facial.
We wanted to take you a little deeper into the experience of what happens during your session, why we incorporate buccal massage, and how this unique approach can help you feel as refreshed as you look.
Begin with assessment & intention.
Your session begins with an assessment of the areas where you may be holding facial tension. Kelly uses this time to understand your individual needs and customize the treatment accordingly.
Release facial tension
We often hold tension in areas such as the jaw, cheeks, temples, forehead, and around the mouth. Focused massage helps bring awareness and attention to these areas while creating a deeply relaxing experience.
Warm & prepare the face.
The treatment begins with external facial massage to warm the tissues and prepare the face for deeper, more focused work. Slow, intentional movements also help you begin to settle into the experience.
Experience buccal massage
This specialized intraoral technique is performed through the inside of the cheeks, allowing Kelly to work with facial muscles and tissues from both inside and outside the mouth. Your comfort and consent always come first.
Sculpt & contour externally.
Kelly uses specialized facial massage techniques across the face, jaw, neck, and surrounding areas. The goal is to work with the natural structures of the face while encouraging relaxation, mobility, and a more refreshed, defined appearance
Move through the jaw & neck.
The treatment continues through the jaw, neck, and surrounding areas to create a more comprehensive facial massage experience. This focused work can be particularly enjoyable for those who tend to carry tension in their jaw or face
Why Buccal Massage?
The face is incredibly expressive, and we're using its muscles all day long. We talk, chew, smile, concentrate, squint, clench, and express emotion constantly. For some people, tension can accumulate around the jaw, cheeks, temples, and mouth.
Buccal massage offers a unique way to access these areas from inside and outside the mouth.
Some clients notice a feeling of release or increased ease through the jaw and face. Others particularly enjoy the sense of relaxation that comes from having these often-overlooked areas addressed.
And some clients love the visible result: a face that looks refreshed, less puffy, and beautifully sculpted.
As with any wellness treatment, individual experiences and results vary.
