Memorial Day Skin Tips!
Memorial Day Weekend is upon us and we thought it would be best to share some summer skincare tips. It is crucial to take care of your skin to avoid wrinkles, brown spots, and skin cancer. Here are some of our favorite skincare tips:
Apply sunscreen everywhere. If you are planning on spending a lot of time outdoors this summer, you will need to apply sunscreen everywhere. We recommend applying sunscreen at least fifteen minutes before you head out for the day. Don’t forget about using SPF for your lips! Find a chapstick that has at least SPF 15 to protect your pout.
Cool off with a face mist. Summer is synonymous with hot, sweaty days. Utilizing a face mist will help you cool off. If you purchase one with antioxidants, you will help strengthen the outer layer of your skin.
Protect your scalp. Even though you have a full head of hair, your scalp can still burn in the sun. Apply a scalp spray to prevent burning your scalp.
Wash off with cold water. We know that you might be used to your hot showers, however, did you know that taking a hot shower after being in the sun can dry your skin out? Take a cooler shower and you will reap more benefits, including a decrease in acne breakouts.
